Planning To Have Kids? Plan better with the Parenthood Plan Canvas
Are you planning to have kids in the future, or considering whether it's for you?
When I was in your position, I wished there was someone who could guide and support me and my partner through how to make a plan that would work for each of us, to get us to the family life we actually wanted.
But, until someone* eventually helped me to do it, I was a bit lost.
I created Preparental because I think it's important that future parents get help to figure out their plan for kids beforehand.
Afterwards is too late. I see so many parents of newborns or toddlers, who are exhausted and stressed, wishing that they lived somewhere different, or that they had more family support. Wishing they had a different job, or wishing they'd done more financial planning.
I'll help you to follow a structured path (The 12 Steps of The Parenthood Plan Canvas) to plan and prepare, practically and strategically. This includes: career planning, where to live, childcare planning, financial planning, and the principles of how to agree and establish roles as parents.
Spending some time on this allows you to organise your thoughts, reduce the overwhelm, make regret-free decisions, and actually start to feel excited about the idea of starting a family, rather than just anxious. And ultimately, it makes it more likely that you will have a family life that works for you, and that you can enjoy.
(*it was actually the adoption process, which is another story!)
